Viva Glam Nicki 2!

I purchased this the day it came out. I owned the first Viva Glam Nicki lipstick and lipgloss but I ended up returning the lipstick. I hated it on me but I loved the gloss.

This looked way better than the first one so I was sold even before it was released. Also, it reminded me of MAC Pink Friday which I never got my hands on so I jumped at the opportunity.

Viva Glam Nicki 2 is a purple blue based lipstick.

I am wearing both gloss and lipstick in this one. My feelings are mixed on the lipstick. For some reason, I feel like it doesn't work on me. I don't know if it's because of my tan skin or my lip shape. I can't point it but I don't like how it looks on me. I can't make it work. Debating if I should return it or not

I do however LOVE the gloss. I love the purple/pink pastel .

I feel like Nicki Minaj in her "Va Va Voom" video while wearing this on my lips haha

DO YOU OWN THIS LIPSTICK/GLOSS?

Hair History

Throughout the years, I have played with my hair ALOT. I think I have tried every hair colors that I possibly could. (Natural color wise)
I don't know why but for some reason I was just never content with my hair. I changed it every 2-3 months.

My hair is a natural level 3 medium brown.
I think the first time I dyed my hair and start playing around with bleach was my first year of high school.

This was the first time I changed my hair dramatically. I went from a level 3 medium brown to level 6 golden/caramel blonde .

After that, I decided to dye my hair a red velvet red. I had this hair color for literally 2 weeks. It faded so fast and there was no way in hell that I was going to dye my hair red every 2 weeks

After the red I attempted to go back to my natural hair color. This shade is close to my natural hair color but it's a bit lighter
I got bored of the brown and decided to add chunky blonde highlights in my hair

I kept adding more and more blonde highlights until...

I went straight full platinum blonde.

I kept the blonde for about a year and a half. I had to bleach my roots every three weeks until my hair could not take bleach anymore. I'm surprised that I still had hair left. My hair was very damaged and porous at this point. My hair would take HOURS to dry due to damage.

I had to dye my hair dark to disguise my falling out hair and nursed it back to health. However, I could not let go of the blonde so I had an ombre hair for awhile.

Present day:

Today, I have jet black dyed hair and I am planning to keep my dark hair for awhile.
I think out of all the hair colors I have had, this is "my" color.
My hair have came a long way to revive from the damage that bleach has caused but it is back to healthy.

I do have to re-dye my hair every 2 months because my natural hair peeps through but I don't really mind. Every 2 months of retouch is better than retouching my roots every 3 weeks.

My hair is so shiny and shiny looking.
I don't know why I haven't thought about dying my hair black before.

I do miss my blonde hair but I am never putting my hair through that ever again. shrugs

Thank you for looking!

A quick OOTD + School Makeup

Hey guys hope everyone had a great weekend! I know I have. It's been great spending it here. Since today is Sunday means I have school tomorrow which means I will have a hectic week. I will probably be gone and I'll probably be back next week.

The weather in the bay area has been AMAZING this week. It was amazing yesterday. It was about 70 degrees. After wearing a boring sweater for months, I was finally allowed to wear cute outfits.

I had dinner with a friend to help cheer her up because she was having boy troubles... haha

Red Stripes Top - Forever 21
Coral Skirt- H&M
Floral Patterned Wedges- H&M

This is usually the look that I go for when I attend classes. I don't need to look too perfect since I am not there to impress anybody haha

Unless I am having a productive morning, I'll throw on some neutral eyeshadows and a little bit of liner but other than that I usually go for this look

Face:
-Smashbox Photo Primer
-MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural in Medium
-MAC Harmony
-MAC Pinch O' Peach

Brows:
MAC Paintpot in Quite Natural
MAC Brow set "Beguile"

Eyes:
Urban Decay Primer Potion "Sin"
Benefit They're Real Mascara

Lips:
MAC C-thru lipgloss

I apologize for a low camera phone quality. I tried to intensify with instagram haha

Hope you all had a great weekend

How to: Depot your MAC e/s. Easy!

Wow, I feel really productive! 2 posts in a row?
I think I might be going back to my old hobby of blogging haha

I am sure there are a BUNCH of How to depot your mac eyeshadow tutorials out there but I decided to share this anyway

It is SUPER easy. It takes less than 5 minutes

Shall we start?

First things first,

You'll need
-A straightener
-A knife
-Your MAC eyeshadow that you want depotted

This is MAC Newly Minted in case you're wondering

Step one:
Preheat straightener and grab your knife and pop out the eyeshadow

Step two:
Place the piece that you just popped out in to your straightener

Wait a minute then put the other piece in to the straightener

Step three:
After 30 seconds, take out the pot (leave the eyeshadow for another minute) then pop out the sticker label

After, take out the eyeshadow and push it out

 Step four:
Place the sticker label into the eyeshadow
Step five (optional):
Buy a magnet and place under the eyeshadow. I didn't do this step

Then place it in your eyeshadow case :)

Hold on to the pot. Collect six and go back to MAC to get a free eyeshadow or lipstick ;)

I hope this helped!
